Award winning Director of Photography

Twenty one years working in broadcast television, driven by a passion for filmmaking and story telling, and the genuine love of having a camera in my hands.

I work across factual, entertainment, arts, history, science, observational documentaries and branded content. My aim is always to create beautiful images, whether filming actuality or creatively lighting interviews, crafting imaginative pieces to camera, drama reconstructions or stunning GVs. I have an instinctive editorial awareness, always looking for that extra shot to make a sequence work.

I love to be involved with shoots as early as possible, talking through scripts and scenes with directors to collaborate and create the best films we possibly can. My affable nature means I can always get best from contributors, allowing me to become a member of the production team rather than simply a camera for hire.
